sink check valve

A fine WordPress.com site. We all have seen these generic valves under our bathroom sinks in North America.Problem is when we go to change faucets we often find the valves don't close properly and drip annoyingly making the replacement job annoying as you have to put towels and bowls underneath the drip. A double check valves protect against category 3 liquids, might cause gutrot, upsets, etc, where as a single only protects against category 2 liquids that cause bad taste strange,warm, like from washing machine hose, whether Cat 2 or Cat 3 neither fluid would kill you.
